Mr. Waldo, one of Corvallis’ 4th grade teachers, holds class upstairs in the oldest part of the school. Finding room for desks limits the room the students have to move around in their classroom. During independent study time several students commonly work in the hallway. He has all the students raise their hand when the classroom gets to loud and busy.
